June Camp Theme - Ice Cream Fun!

Become a paw-some veterinarian! Camp participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian and learn how to care for a dog. These future veterinarians will learn how to remove ticks, perform a nose-to-tail exam, understand proper animal nutrition and hydration, suture lacerations, and more!

Biting at the bit to learn more about horses? This equine camp is for you! Become a vet for a week and learn all about the care and maintenance of a horse. Take an oath and use real medical tools to keep your newly adopted plush horse happy and healthy. After learning about horse anatomy, riding styles, and nutrition you can ride into the sunset with your diploma. Giddy up!

Children will both learn and apply the concepts, tools and techniques of real chemists! Campers will learn real lab techniques and safety procedures, and use these throughout the week. They will experiment with super-sticky-stuff, explore glow-in-the-dark technology, mix potions, make slime, and grow crystals!

Take a trip into the galaxy! Campers will learn about the history of space travel and how some space vehicles work. They will use stomp rockets, water rockets and engine powered rockets to explore the physics of flight. This camp will introduce children to and show them how amazing our Milky Way is.

Design your custom LEGO® bot to take on any challenge. Mix and match chassis designs using wheels, treads, or walking legs. Combine these with tools like drills, hammers, and battering rams as you refine your masterpiece by sparring with friends and overcoming obstacles. Apply real-world engineering and physics concepts to help you bash and crash your way to victory.

Inspired by NASA and Star Wars®, our Space Adventures Camp is packed full of models that will make your imagination blast off! Each day, campers will learn about real-life space exploration and build models related to the NASA space program. Campers will also be building some of their favorite spacecraft from Star Wars®! In addition, the day includes group games, challenges and more.

Step back in time and bring the world of classic retro video games to life by building classic icons with LEGO® Bricks and Technic® elements. Not only will you build awesome models and working contraptions depicting your favorite arcade and video game heroes but you will also have the opportunity to play some of the original 8 and 16 bit games on their original vintage Sega® and Nintendo® consoles.

With your renewable energy kit that you keep and take home, you can assemble up to 12 working experiments. Not only do you get to create actual working drones using LEGO® Bricks, but you will get to add custom motors, propellers, circuit boards and wiring to make it take flight! Campers will learn the basics with a 4-rotor design and work their up to an 8-motor working drone creation! Campers should consider themselves to be advanced builders and have patience.

Here’s your chance to turn your next LEGO creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do! Our brand new Junior Robotics camp works with LEGO® BOOST, the newest version of elementary-level robotics from LEGO®. Using drag-and-drop icon-based software, BOOST software provides an introduction into the world of computer-programming and robotics. This fun, action-packed week combines real-life skills with real-kid fun!
